Applications Lab and Consulting

AFM Engineering, Inc. has an in-house applications laboratory.  We offer consulting on pad printing, hot stamping, and ultrasonic welding.  We encourage our customers to send us parts so that we can determine the best way to decorate or assemble the finished plastic product.

 Many times we can save our customers from making an expensive mistake particularly when it comes to mold design.  If the finished product will require a secondary operation, such as decoration or assembly, we can advise in advance thus avoiding costly mold re-work.

 In our applications lab we can prepare samples so our customer can decide on the best way to decorate or assemble the finished product.  In the case of the hot stamping we can decorate with heat transfers or foil.  Pad print samples can be made with an infinite variety of colors.

 We encourage our customers to visit us in person.  When we have a job setup in our lab we can show our customer the actual production process.  So, if you have a potential application contact us immediately.  Most jobs can be evaluated in less than one (1) week.
