Fixturing, Tooling and Automation

AFM Engineering, Inc. specializes in building fixtures and tooling for parts that will be hot stamped, pad printed, or ultrasonically welded.  In hot stamping, the fixture is often the key to the success of the project. As much as (15) tons of force can be applied to the surface of the part being stamped.  AFM Engineering, Inc.’s fixtures are the rugged and dependable.  Many of our customers have over a million impressions on the original fixture.

 AFM Engineering, Inc. offers a variety of die holders for hot stamping, special pad bars for holding pad print pads, and custom holders for ultrasonic horns. 

 Our automation capabilities start with basic machine accessories such as light curtains, slide tables, rotary tables, and stack feeders.  Such additions usually double the output of a standard hot stamp press, pad print machine, or an ultrasonic welder.  These accessories  are in-stock at AFM Engineering, Inc. upon receipt of the customer’s machine.  The installation of an AFM Engineering, Inc. accessory is usually completed in (2) weeks.
