The Wedge Press uses an Air Cylinder to push a wedge between two rollers. The
wedge has two angles, a 45 degree and an approx. 2.5 degree angles. When the 2.5
degree angle is between the rollers, the pressure is multiplied by the mechanical
advantage of the wedge.The Wedge Press can produce 20 tons of printing pressure.
The Wedge Press does not have an accurate mechanical stop and may not be suitable
for fine detail rubber dies. The Wedge Press only produces full printing pressure
at the bottom of the head stroke..
