Hot Stamp Safety
	 True Dwell Switch |
The True Dwell Switch should make when the hot stamp head is within
1/4 inch of the part to be stamped.  When the True Dwell Switch is
made the Control box timer will start and the Hot Stamp head will be
locked down for the time set on the timer. To make sure the True Dwell
Switch is set properly do the following:

		-
Press both Palm Buttons at the same time. When the head is almost
all the way down release one of the buttons. The head should return to
the up position. If the head continues down the True Dwell Switch
		is set to high.

			-
Press both Palm Buttons at the same time. Hold the buttons
until the head hits the part being stamped.  Continue to hold
both buttons. The head should stay down for the time set on
the control box. When the timer times out, the head should go
to the up position. If the head stays down as long as you hold
the buttons the True Dwell Switch is set too low.
